Colleagues
Please would you draw this opportunity to anyone who might be interested, thanks
I would like to draw your attention to this exciting opportunity for someone with a PhD to advance their academic career by joining a team of internationally renowned academics in a major funded project. Led by the current Head of School (Professor Sarah Vickerstaff) the post holder will work on one of the work packages in the ESRC/MRC funded research programme on Uncertain Futures: Managing Late Career Transitions and Extended Working Life. The programme involves a consortium of research colleagues from 7 Universities, the Institute of Occupational Medicine and the International Longevity Centre UK. The post holder will work with other colleagues at Kent, Edinburgh, Bath, Manchester and Leeds on Work Package 3: Workplace case studies. The case study approach will be used to examine how transitions from work to retirement and the policy of extended working life (EWL) are managed within contrasting organisations.
