That's interesting Bill. I certainly 'do' gratitude on face to face basis,
to those unsung heroes and heroines who keep me going on a daily, humdrum,
not yet finished level, but I'm wary of it in literary contexts because of,
well, the 'scene', scenes, the utter yuck.
Definitely 'blank', although it does encompass 'bank' :)
