Colleagues might be interested in the latest song by Leon Rosselson, arguably Britain's most distinguished 'dissenting' songwriter. His latest is a song for Gaza, which I thought I'd share.
List members have recently shared some fine insights and observations on the continuing tragedy in Gaza (leaving aside the obvious barmy ones not worth engaging with) but it might be worth considering Rosselson's technique blending parallel tragedies of two children's lives cut short - one in the ghetto of Vilna, the other in the ghetto of Gaza.
Those of you not familiar with Leon Rosselson may want to check out his five decade long career using songs to illuminate topical issues. While he may not be everybody's favourite singer his words are what really matter.
best wishes, Simon Cross NTU
