There doesn't seem to be any easy way to promote this through social media as the website lacks even a facebook like/share button?

Subject: Phut!
Efforts by CILIP and SCL to contact Unis and other Higher Ed should have been *massive* - to bring new members into public libraries. Many advocates rejoiced when they heard about this initiative, but now it has gone "phut". No effective advocacy by the professional bodies? - How very, very disappointing that is.
But so much effort in fiddling with the bye laws/governance while libraries and the porfession fade into oblivion!
