Clinical Research Fellow (Neurology) - Cambridge

Salary range £36,294 - £49,029 pa
The MRC Cognition and Brain Sciences Unit (CBSU) is an internationally renowned research institute with state-of-the-art cognitive neuroscience facilities.
This is an exciting opportunity to develop expertise in neuroimaging research and its applications to dementia.
We are looking for someone to conduct research projects using MEG and fMRI to understand the mechanisms of cognition change in mild cognitive impairment (MCI) and dementia. You should have a special interest in cognitive and behavioural neurology. The post is suitable for trainees in Neurology who are seeking to undertake a higher degree (PhD) as part of their training in Neurology, or a clinical scientist who already holds a higher degree.
This post operates within a dynamic multidisciplinary team, of clinical and non-clinical scientists within CBSU and Cambridge University Department of Clinical Neurosciences, led by Dr James Rowe and Dr Rik Henson. It provides unparalleled access to translational neuroscience, in terms of imaging methods, research facilities and cognitive neuroscience.
The post requires excellent communication skills, report writing skills and attention to detail.
