Hi,
We have looked at indicators of community resilience within the EU
project embrace, in the context of earthquakes and found that
survivors of an earthquake (VAN, 2011 Turkey) perceive the resilience
of buildings and infrastructure as important contributors t their
resilience following the quake. Thus, resilience of built environment
seems to be perceived as a contributor to bouncing back after an
earthquake. The results of our workshop in Van, can be found in the
embrace web site.
