How can I attend the November event at Unite headquarters?
I love the connection.
Include me in.
I think you have the date wrong. 19th Nov is on Wednesday.
How do I register?
Thank you.

Subject: Exciting News!
Dear UK Disability History Month supporters,
We hope you are well and enjoying the summer! We are excited to announce that this year we have decided to tap into the centenary commemorations for the First World War. Therefore our theme will be ‘War and Impairment: the social consequence of disablement’. It would be great for you to start thinking about what you can do to mark it. As always, we encourage people to follow the theme, but welcome any events which follow a social model perspective.
We are also proud to announce that this year we have partnered with Unite the Union, who are sponsoring our launch and broadsheets.
Finally we have some dates for your diary:
On Sunday 7th September we will be holding a media stunt at the TUC AGM in Liverpool. More details to follow – but if you live in the Northwest (or are willing to travel) please save the date.
Tuesday 19th November will be our official launch event with drinks reception. It will be in the evening at Unite the Union head office in central London.
On Saturday 6th December we will be holding a one-day seminar on the theme and general disability equality. This will be held at the University of London Union in central London.
We look forward to hearing about the exciting things you have planned!
Best wishes from the UKDHM Team
