Subject: POSSIBLE ACTION REQUIRED: National Information Board: Survey for circulation

Dear Ray,

As I mentioned before, I have become involved with a project at Public Health England about developing IT solutions to improving access to health information. As part of this work, they are conducting a survey to find out what apps are available and what sort of resources people would like to see. The survey is aimed at users and producers, and I thought you and possibly your networks might be interested in completing it. Here are more details:

On behalf of the National Information Board for health and social care, please see below a link to a short survey to understand the opinions of patients, carers, the public, health and care professionals, national bodies and industry. We want to know what problems affect you in relation to health information and technology and how you think they could be solved.

www.cqc.org.uk/NIBstrategy<http://www.cqc.org.uk/NIBstrategy>

This survey is to help us find out what you want from information, services or technology, in order to help us make your health, the NHS and the wider care system in the UK as good as they can be.

We will use these views to help inform a national information strategy for the NHS and other organisations interested in delivering or supporting health and social care.

You can complete the survey as a user or a provider of information, technology or related services, or both. The survey is deliberately left open to give you freedom to respond as you would like to.

Feel free to share amongst other stakeholders if you think they would be interested in completing the survey.

Thank you for your help.

Best wishes, from,

Caroline
