Sweet, it is even worse. So I suspect you are using either a USB stick or a
partition on your Harddrive which is NTFS formated. It gets mounted by FUSE [1]
with mount options which do not allow to change the permissions of a file but
instead setting some defaults.
You have two options:
1. Google for "fuse mount options" and find a way to change the default mount
options for that partition.
2. Install analysis on a proper linux filesystem.
