italian-studies: Scholarly discussions in any field of Italian studies
Cari colleghi,
I have posted on my Academia.edu page (which can be found under the
rubric James Ward Berkeley) a copy of a draft of a manuscript I am
hoping to send out for possible publication. The ms. deals with covert
criticism of the Medici in Renaissance Florence, and is entitled
"Hidden in Plain Sight: Covert Criticism of the Medici in Renaissance
Florence." As an independent scholar, I have not had the opportunity
to share it with many colleagues, so as to receive feedback on the
manuscript.
Hence, I would appreciate it very much if any of you, should you be so
inclined, might take a look at any or all of the manuscript and share
your comments with me. I will, of course, incorporate and acknowledge
any comments I use into the final version to be submitted for
publication.
Thanks again, e spero che tutti quanti stiano passando un'estate
veramente deliziosa e rilassante.
Saluti cordiali,
Jim Ward
Berkeley, CA
P.S. Since this is a draft, there are some citations which are not
fully given, or some slight gaps in the text.
