italian-studies: Scholarly discussions in any field of Italian studies
Cari colleghi, I would like to sincerely thank all those who wrote to
me regarding my research interest in the Italian fogli volanti. I
received quite an enthusiastic response, which was very gratifying.
Given the interest that this topic seemed to arouse, I am planning on
continuing my project of posting more images of title pages (and, in
some cases, entire chapbooks) on my Academia.edu page. Some of you
have also done considerable research already on the fogli volanti,
from various perspectives, and made some excellent bibliographic
suggestions. I plan on posting these also on my Academia.edu page.
Please do feel free to continue to contact me regarding the chapbooks,
with ideas, suggestions, questions, or even, magari, actual documents
which I could post there. And by all means, please pass this on to any
of your colleagues or friends who you think might be interested in
this subject. I think it has the potential to continue to be a very
fruitful and interesting field of research.
Cordiali saluti,
Jim Ward
