Claudia Jones was a community organiser, founder of the West Indian Gazette, mother of the Notting Hill Carnival and a political campaigner.
She lived and worked in South London between 1956 and 1964.
This year is the 50th anniversary of her death and 2015 will be the 100th anniversary of her birth.
