now seventeen Black inventors inducted into the National Inventors Hall of
Fame. I have cited a large number of inventors of color from throughout
Africa, Asia, Australia, Canada, the Caribbean, Central and South America,
Europe, the United Kingdom and the United States.
We have also documented a number of inventors of color who have received the
World Intellectual Property Organization's(WIPO) prestigious Gold Medal
