Dear SPMers,
I aim to test whether a brain region is activated in task A AND task B. I asked the participants to complete the two tasks in different runs. The contrasts of interest in task A and that in task B were modeled separately. If I input the the contrast of interest in task A and that in task B into the same 2nd level model of paired T test, is it correct for me to do a conjunction analysis by selecting the two contrasts simultaneously? My intuition is that it is incorrect since the contrasts were modeled separately and might reflect activity with different units. How about your ideas? How can I check whether the two tasks activated the similar brain areas? I am looking forward to your reply!
Bests,
Sun Delin
