Dear SPM experts,
we are planing to do a simple visually cued finger tapping task and a
voluntary finger tapping task that will be analyzed seperately. At the
moment we are not sure if it better to use DCM for ERP or DCM for
Induced Responses for the analysis of the data, because of the
differences in the reaction times during the visually cued task.
I had a look at the DCM for Induced Responses for three pilot
subjects, but now I am not sure how to compare the coupling strengths
between subjects. My problem is that the values represent coupling
strengths between frequency modes that are different for each
subjects. As far as I understood I can't compare the coupling
strengths in one subject to the coupling strength in another one (for
example from mode i in region j to mode k in region l).
Would recommend to transform the coupling matrices from mode-level to
frequency-level to compare different subjects and get something like a
mean coupling for the whole group of subjects?
Thank you in advance,
Nils
