Dear Mr. Bantock
For the record, items 884, 894, 895, 897, 898, 901, 904, 917, 918, 930, and 938, acquired by me, will got in October to the Beinecke Rare Book & Manuscript Library at Yale, to join the rest of my Kipling collection. I know the firescreen was purchased by Maggs Bros., and thus may reappear on the market, perhaps with some other lots bought by dealers (and unknown to me).

Subject: Kipling Auction - Ewbanks June 26
Dear All
I was doing some research online and came across the recent Auction (June 26th 2014) of Kipling related material at the Ewbanks Auction House. Sadly the auction has passed and many materials, such as letters, photographs, jewellery and personal items have gone into private and independent ownership. However, copies of all items sold have been listed with pictures and photos , including letters. Each page of the letters have been individually photographed and displayed in the catalogue, which provides a fascinating insight into the Kipling household.
If it is of interest the website can be found here www.ewbankauctions.co.uk
If you then go into Auctions > Archive Catalogues and view the archive catalogue for 25 June 2014 to 26 June 2014 Sale JUN14F Summer Fine Sale including Jewellery and Silver. You will see Rudyard Kipling Lots 875 - 961 listed in the table at the top of the page.
There are about 94 items in total, which make a fascinating read. I do hope that some of you are able to make use of the material. I am not sure of the copy write issues regarding this material, but I assume that you will be better placed than I to make a judgment.
