The Iranian Kurdish Women's Rights Organisation (IKWRO)is looking for a female volunteer to create a new central contact database and mailing list for their events and fundraising.

IKWRO’s mission is to protect Middle Eastern and Afghan women and girls who are at risk of  ‘honour’ based violence, forced marriage, child marriage, female genital mutilation and domestic violence and to promote their rights.

They provide direct services for women and girls, including advocacy, training and counselling. IKWRO also provides advice and support to professionals from bodies such as the police, social services and schools to help them to understand issues affecting minority ethnic women and we campaign for better laws and their effective implementation as well as for appropriate resources to uphold the rights of women and girls and ensure their safety.

Main tasks would include:

    Compiling contacts from Outlook and contact lists from each staff member
    Working with staff to classify and sort contacts
    Creating a Mail Chimp database, segments and newsletter
    Adding a mailing list sign-up option to website
    Training staff on how to use and add to Mail Chimp database

Person specification:

    Must have experience in Email Marketing (stategy and software) and ideally be familiar with Outlook and MailChimp.
    Must have patience and commitment to complete the task and willing to work from IKWRO's offices in central London.
    Must respect importance of and ensure confidentiality of all information held by and dealt with by the organisation
