Dear LIS-LINK members,
I am a postgraduate LIS student (Dept. of Information Studies, University College London), currently working on my dissertation on "Theft and Strategies of Theft Prevention of Library Materials in Academic Libraries in the United Kingdom".
As part of the research, I am conducting a nation-wide survey, which is:
# brief (15 questions, takes up to 9 minutes to complete)
# strictly confidential and secure (SSL-encrypted)
# completely anonymous (no tracking of e-mail and IP addresses)
# for scholarly purposes only
Requirements for Participation:
1) employment in an academic library in the United Kingdom
2) employment at management level (Management of Collection, Circulation, Customer Services, Service Teams) or employment as senior staff member (library, library's Special Collections)
I would be very grateful if those members who are working in academic libraries could spare a few minutes to complete my questionnaire, which will be online until 31 July 2014. A report presenting the findings of this study will be available by the end of September 2014.

Yours sincerely,
