I am currently putting a report together looking at extending library services to alumni. I am very interested to find out how other institutions define alumni, and would be extremely grateful for any feedback on this. For instance:

Is it only students who have graduated that qualify as alumi, or does anybody who has finished a course of study qualify? Can students qualify as alumni even if they haven't completed a course of study? Do courses of study have to be of a certain length etc...?


I would also be interested to know what services are offered to alumni at other universities. For instance can they access e-resources, can they borrow books, do they have VLE access etc.
