Dear all,
A nice colleague in Singapore is looking to recruit Research Scientists or Senior Research Scientists with a background in research in ID or ASD. So if you fancy a period over there (contracts are initially for 3 years) in a post heavily focused on research why not give this consideration. All details can be accessed via attached advertisement. If you require more details having looked at the information, please direct your enquiries to Ken Poon, the research group lead at the Education and Cognitive Development Laboratory at the National Institute of Education: [log in to unmask]
Here is what Ken has to say about the post:
I have included the ad that we have for research scientists at the Education and Cognitive Development Laboratory which I now work within. Please help to share this ad with anyone who may be interested. Research Scientists and Senior Research Scientists are academic staff who are quite similar to Assistant and Associate Professors except that tenure is not available to them and that they are instead employed on a contract of typically between two to three years. The position of a Research Scientist is an ideal one for many researchers as they devote a substantial majority of their time to research and dissemination. It is also expected that Research Scientists apply for research grants. Some teaching or student supervision opportunities are also available.
Best Wishes
Katrina
