Hi,
we're using the following matrix for randomising:
Patients Controls Test Result Patient Test Result Controls
1 0 2 0
1 0 3 0
...
0 1 0 5
0 1 0 7
and the following contrasts:
c1 (0 0 1 -1)
c2 (0 0 -1 1)
c3 (0 0 1 0)
c4 (0 0 -1 0)
c5 (0 0 0 1)
c6 (0 0 0 -1)
- We were wondering what exactly the 0 in the contrast-file defines. Does it just excludes the values ? why do we need to define the groups when we're just defining the group's colums with zero?
- Do c1 and c2 just look for slopes with different/reverse signs? (+/-)
Thank you very much for your help, which is highly appreciated,
bests,
Anna
