COMMUNICATIONS AND INFORMATION COORDINATOR - REFUGEE STUDIES CENTRE (RSC)

Grade 7: £30,434 - £37,394 p.a.
The RSC is looking to recruit a Communications and Information Coordinator to work closely with academic and administrative members of Centre. The position is integral to developing and maintaining RSC's external profile and requires initiative and interpersonal skills, as well as management and professional competencies in the main functional areas of the post. The postholder will take the lead in managing and coordinating the communications and information dissemination for the RSC comprising three interrelated areas of activity: to develop and monitor the impact of the RSC's communications, information and disseminations strategy, develop and manage the RSC's web presence and electronic communications, and to coordinate the development, editing, production and distribution of the RSC working paper series and other relevant reports.
The successful candidate will have a degree or a career equivalent, substantial experience of communications work, excellent writing skills and high level IT/digital media skills, proven team and management experience and an interest in forced migration issues.
The post is full-time and fixed-term for 2 years in the first instance, to start as soon as possible.
