*FULLY FUNDED PhD POSITIONS*

Nine fully funded PhD studentships are available at Aston University,
Birmingham, UK, in topics including:
* Genetic programming,
* Evolutionary dynamic optimisation,
* Reinforcement learning,
* Particle swarm optimisation,
* Multi-agent systems,
* Self-adaptive systems.
Applications are invited to apply for one of our nine three-year PhD
studentships, supported by the School of Engineering and Applied
Science, to be undertaken within the Computer Science Research Group at
Aston University. The successful applicants will join the newly formed
Aston Institute for Systems Analytics.
The initial deadline is the 31st July 2014.
Studentships include a fee bursary to cover the home/EU fee rate plus a
maintenance allowance. Some studentships are combined with teaching
assistant roles. Applicants from outside the EU may apply but will need
to pay the difference between the ‘Home/EU’ and the ‘Overseas’ tuition
fees.
