Subject: Research Project: Use of Creative Technology in the Production Context and Disability
Hello all,
At the BBC we are currently conducting an investigation into disability and use of creative technology in the creation of audio and visual content. Our aim is to understand semi-professional and professional practitioners in this space who have disabilities (broadly defined) so that we can improve accessibility of both the technologies and craft activities in this space.
We are looking for participants who either have disabilities, or are engaged in supporting people with disabilities in using creative technologies, who are willing to be interviewed for this project. Examples of roles in this space are wide ranging, and might include sound and vision mixers, musicians, camera operators, onto people who engage in directing or performing in the productions themselves.
If you would like to take part, please email Reuben Kirkham at [log in to unmask] We would compensate you for your time, and we are happy to conduct these interviews in person (we would refund travel expenses, or travel ourselves), or over Skype as appropriate.
Best wishes,
Reuben

Subject: research of autistic women and a quiet flat in Berlin
Hi,
I am writing on behalf of dr Marion Hersh. Something is still wrong with her subscription because we don't receive her e-mails.
Marion is looking for girls and women with Asperger syndrome and autism for her research about education and employment. As she is going to Berlin, she would like to make some individual interviews there. Before she can send the information sheet and a list of topics. It is possible to organize interviews between 24th July and 5th August.
Moreover, Marion is looking for a quiet flat or a room to rent. It must be really quiet and have access to a kitchen because she cooks herself. During holidays it isn't easy and it's difficult to find anything via websites with announcements. So if you are aware of any possibilities, e.g. know somebody who would like to rent a flat from 28th July till 6th August or if you know women who might be interested inMarion's research, please contact her directly at [log in to unmask] Best, Hania

I think we should be raising the profile of excellent services for university -college students on the spectrum. This might be a way forward-although HE is not a good fit with their tick boxes-which says something in itself.
