Call for Papers for a Special Issue on
"Advanced Methods for Space-Time Environmental Data"
The special issue on "Advanced Methods for Space-Time Environmental Data" is aimed at collecting high quality research papers on spatial and space-time models focusing on new methods and applications for environmental problems. Topics include, but are not limited to, hierarchical models, functional data analysis, spatio-temporal clustering, space-time mixtures, air and water quality, geological risks, climate and ecological data.
These topics arise at the Conference METMAVII-GRASPA14, Turin September 11-12, 2014, http://www.graspa.org/metmagraspa, which is jointly organized by GRASPA-SIS, the permanent working group of the Italian Statistical Society for Environmental Statistics, METMA, the biennial Spanish Conference on Spatial Statistics, and TIES, The International Environmetrics Society. Hence the special issue intends to share the debate on these topics with the entire scientific community.
