Analysis Lead- Salary is negotiable + benefits- Essex
A recognisable Service provider is seeking an intellectually capable and self-motivated individual to fulfil the position of Analysis Lead. Reporting to the Head of Marketing Analytics this role is responsible in assisting and developing the Analytics and customer Insight strategy for the company: Especially influencing and supporting marketing planning by improving and measuring the effectiveness of marketing as function.
Role & Responsibilities
• Provide analytical support to Marketers including campaign selections and targeting aimed at improving response rates and ROMI for direct & digital marketing.
• Build analytical models to solve complex business challenges.
• Ensure that appropriate processes for tracking campaigns across complex data sources are set up in order to ensure appropriate measurement of ROIs and response characteristics relevant to the campaign briefs.
• Lead the design and compilation of reports and presentations to the senior management team in order that the objectives, strategy and performance of UK Marketing are understood and that appropriate business decisions can be taken.
• Design, implement and be accountable for the monthly operational reporting process for UK Marketing.
• Budget Management & efficient use of financial resources.
• Manage the delivery of post-campaign analysis, including executing operational reports and ad hoc post-campaign analysis, identifying appropriate statistical analytical techniques, software and data sources to initiate the development of models of customer behaviour.
• To conduct project based analytics delivering valuable and actionable insights to support strategic decisions across the organisation.
• Ensure key insights are presented in an easy to understand format and are clearly communicated to a non-technical audience.
• Work with Marketers to define the campaign specifications including objectives, offers, target audience and Return on Investment.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills
• An ideal candidate will be highly astute and commercially aware with a firm background within Marketing Analytics.
• Degree in a numerate discipline or where strong data handling skills are essential: Maths, Statistics, Economics, Computing, Science.
• Well organised with knowledge of multi-channel marketing.
• Experience in development of marketing information for the provision of business insights and decision support.
• Ability to explain complex statistical techniques to non-technical audiences clearly.
• Experience in data mining packages such as SAS, JMP, R, and large databases.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office products, including Excel & Access.
• Working knowledge of SAP and Salesforce or any other CRM tool.
• Good working knowledge SQL.
• Experience of modelling using Regression, CHAID, Econometric modelling, Marketing Mix modelling.
