I have quite a bit of information on isocyanates, with particular regard to
skin exposure. Are you aware that skin exposure can lead to sensitisation
and allergic reactions, including asthma? In the past there has been a
tendency to concentrate purely on respiratory protection and not to consider
adequate control of skin exposure. The evidence is that this is not
adequate. You will need to ensure that the precautions taken with regard to
clothing, gloves, etc. is adequate for control of skin exposure. In respect
of skin health surveillance I recommend you speak to my daughter as Helen's
PhD was on "New techniques for skin health surveillance". She is on the same
number shown below.
