I'm not a dipso user myself, but if I test it by doing
the following:
% dipso
% dipso
> read $DIPSO_DIR/DEMO2
> dev xw
> pm
> cregs
...<select pairs of points using the cursor and then double click to exit>
> quit
it all seems to work. The cursor intentionally jumps back to the
bottom left corner after each pair of positions has been selected, and
a double click exits cleanly back to the command prompt. Is it the
jumping back to the origin that is throwing your user?
