Child-to-Parent Violence Practitioners’ Forum: 15th July 2015
You are warmly invited to a Child-to-Parent Violence Practitioners’ Forum to be held in the School of Law at the University of Leeds. Although many practitioners have encountered child-to-parent violence the issue has, until recently, been somewhat neglected by academics and policy-makers. Given the hidden nature of the problem it is, perhaps, unsurprising that the development of frontline services has been patchy. In recent years, however, there has been growing recognition of this form of family violence. This event will bring practitioners together to share and disseminate good practice in the development and delivery of child-to-parent violence services. It will also provide an opportunity to hear from academics and policy makers about the latest developments in the field.
This event is free to attend but registration is required: http://www.law.leeds.ac.uk/events/2014/child-to-parent-violence
