Mike Quinn of Preservica will join us at our next IRMS London meeting on Thursday 17th July to speak on ideas and potential product developments for how digital preservation can be built into the treatment of records from the start of the lifecycle, instead of having to wait until the records have reached some sort of archive.
As ever, refreshments of sandwiches, tea and coffee will be provided. Networking from 5.30pm, talk starting around 6.30pm finishing at 8pm. The talk will be held in the Offices of the Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman at Millbank Tower. Nearest tubes are Westminster or Pimlico.
Please sign up now for your place on what has always proved to be a very popular topic at our previous meetings: http://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/aligning-digital-preservation-with-records-management-tickets-11978206137
The Public Sector's IRMS Group will also be held on 17th July during the day. You are welcome to attend our meeting as well - but do please pre-book your place by clicking on the above link.
