Hmm..

Assistant instructors will be paid £200 per week for what looks like a 38 hour working week. Let me see… that’s £5.26 per hour. But the UK minimum wage for those over 21 is £6.31 per hour, so this is basically poverty pay and could well be in breach of the minimum wage regulations. This rate of pay is, sadly legal for those aged 18 to 20 but its still pretty poor when you consider that the living wage rate for London is calculated to be £8.80 per hour. This is £334.00 for a 38 hour week, so even the ‘Lead Instructors’ are being basically ripped off if you consider that the Living Wage concept has any validity.

I wonder how much "Mother Nature” expects to earn PER DAY for running these events?

Caveat Emptor!

We are running camps at 8 locations in South London, each location will need at least 1 lead instructor and 1 assistant instructor. So that means plenty of work for keen scientists!

Remember the more roles you put yourself forward to, the more likely you are to receive work over the summer.
