Dear all,
Myself, Juliet and Wendy managed to meet on the 24th March from 10-11.20hrs. There was quite a bit of time spent negotiating the technology but we managed some decent discussion. Thanks Juliet and Wendy for sharing your experiences.
I will be hosting 2 more online meet-ups where you are welcome to come and join in the discussion and share experiences.
The dates and times include:
Monday 9th June from 10-12
Monday 30th June from 10-12
The dates and times had the most interest from the doodle poll.
Here is the link to the meeting space: http://breeze01.uclan.ac.uk/ethnoreflection/
Just enter as a guest and I will be there to greet you.
Please let me know if you will be attending.
Thanks,
Anna Byrom
Midwifery lecturer and PhD student

Hi all,
Just looking at the doodle poll, so far, we have 6 people available to meet online on the 24th March from 10-12hrs in the adobe virtual meeting space (link below).
How exciting. As mentioned previously, it would be good to use this time to get to know each other and discuss ToR for the space. Also, perhaps a list of topics, agenda items etc?
Looking forward to meeting with all on the 24th of March.
Best wishes,
Anna Byrom

I would be very interested in creating a virtual group with other PhD students who are also using this ethnography to share ideas. My topic area is 'midwifery decision making and perineal protection in the second stage of labour' looking at intervention measures/or not to protect the integrity of the perineum. I would be really interested in hearing about anyone else undertaking any research in this area, the topic appears to be a hot one that is getting hotter!
