All good points Danny,
Though I'd like to add a footnote on digital preservation for those of us
to whom longevity of content is important: build it so it's not tied to a
particular proprietary platform and it will (probably) survive.
I say this as someone who has scoured Ebay for Betamax playback heads far
too many times.
