Hi Alwyn
I did talk to a company some time ago called SpinMe who specialise in exactly what you're after. I didn't do any work with them in the end for various reasons but they might be worth having a chat with.
The chap I spoke to was Sean Smiles, [log in to unmask] and their website is http://spinme.co.uk/.
Good luck!
Thanks

Subject: [MCG] 360 degree photography of collection items
We're looking into getting some collection items rotationally photographed (from 360 degrees, so that users can "spin" the photographs and observe the objects from every angle).
I'm having some difficulty finding professional photography companies with experience of working with museums who also offer rotational photography of collections. Does anyone on the MCG have experience of having objects 360 photographed? Any firms you can recommend getting a quote from, or hiccups you ran into?
Thanks,
Alwyn Collinson
