I’m hoping I live long enough to see terminator style heads up displays with zoom to wide angle lenses and infrared and night vision in normal specs, although I suspect that Geordi La Forge style Visors might be more likely by then, perhaps part of our airbag hoodies?
My eyes are currently poorly assisted by glasses, I’d be very happy to have some additional augmented reality built in.
There are too many big players with big budgets looking at wearable tech for it to go away The future is already here, it’s just a matter of time before people join up all the dots and someone starts giving away GG type tech in return for demographic collection and advertising potential.
