On 1st July Aliss (Association of Librarians and Information Professionals in the Social Sciences) will hold its summer conference in Cardiff. We will explore how qualifications, training and staff development in the library and information world are evolving. Hear how current students are training for their future careers, how one university has developed its MSc, and find out about some exciting initiatives in universities. There will be plenty of opportunities for discussion and networking. Buffet lunch included. Closing date for bookings: 15 June. Cancellations cannot be made less than one week before the event.
