No, you don't have to use this script.
All you need is a plain text file containing one filename per line.
See my previous email about what plain text means in case you are not sure.

Yes.

> Could you tell me how to choose the parameter –a or –n ?
We recommend nonlinear (-n) as is specified in the help message.
> 3. smooth
> How to select the most appropriate size of smoothing kernel ?
