Hello FSL experts, I want to make sure that the following procedure that I'm following for normalizing the output of probtrackx is correct. Since the size of all seeds and targets is different between subjects and can't be compared as is.
1. For each subject and for each seed-target calculate the mean of the waytotal when A is a seed and when B is a seed. As well of the mean of the seed_to_target output
2. For each subject and for each seed add all the waytotals where that mask is a seed (in the corresponding subject)
3. For each subject and for each seed-target divide 1) by 2)
4. For each subject, calculate the mean of all waytotals obtained (for all seed-target combinations in that subject)
5. Multiply 3) by 4)
6. For each subject and each fdt_paths obtained divide each fdt_paths by the size of the target
7. For each subject multiply 6) by the mean size of all targets in the subject
Is that procedure correct? I took it from Saad's paper but I want to be sure I understand it correctly.
Thank you very much,
