Society for Caribbean Studies annual conference, University of Glasgow, 2-4 July
You are invited to register for the SCS annual conference held at the University of Glasgow, 2-4 July 2014.

In addition to panels presenting the latest research on the Caribbean and its diasporas, this year's programme includes a keynote by Professor Simon Newman on 'Caribbean Runaways', exploring Scotland's links with the Caribbean, a plenary panel on Glasgow-Caribbean connections, and a presentation by Jamaican visual artist O'Neil Lawrence on 'Exploring Black Caribbean Masculinities'.
Those arriving in advance of the conference are invited to join us on a walking tour exploring Glasgow's slave history, and a civic reception in the City Chambers on Tuesday 1st July (details on the web-page).
