SOAS CHINA INSTITUTE LAUNCHES NEW MA PROGRAMME
Applications are invited for the new two-year Masters in Advanced Chinese Studies programme convened by the SOAS China Institute, starting September 2014. This new programme offers comprehensive language-based training in Chinese Studies across a wide range of disciplines in the humanities and social sciences. The programme includes a six-month stay at Zhejiang University in Hangzhou.

SCHOLARSHIPS
Applicants to this new programme can apply for scholarships available exclusively to students pursuing two-year programmes in language-based area studies, under the aegis of the HEFCE-funded project "Sustainable Funding for Language-based Area Studies," which is led by SOAS on behalf of a consortium of UK universities. Both one-year scholarships and two-year scholarships are available.
