1.1 "Fertile Soil" - New Changing the Learning Landscape (CLL) project blog
This project is about enabling higher education institutions in England, including colleges of further education providing higher education, to bring about change in their strategic approaches to technology in learning and teaching. ALT is one of the partners of this Hefce-funded project. Read the latest insights from evaluator Professor Patsy Cullen.

1.2 How what you do now can help shape learning technology across sectors
Following the publication of the report from the Further Education Learning Technology Action Group (FELTAG) in March this year, the question of how technology can effectively be used for learning, teaching and assessment is now being explored by a new group, ETAG. 2.1 Institutional Open Education and OER Policies, 12.30 BST 23 June 2014
This webinar will provide two perspectives on OER policies and seek to answer some of the key questions related to Open Education and OER policies. Paul Bacsich (Sero Counsulting and Project Manager on the POERUP project) will provide a perspective on policy developments from the various UK and EU Open Education projects and beyond. Teresa Bird (Learning Technologist at the University of Leicester and SCORE Research Fellow) will give her perspectives on the development of OER policies.

3.1 National Survey on Assistive Technology and Inclusion – DART 2.1 Project
DART 2.1 (Disseminating Assistive Roles and Technology 2.1) is a Jisc funded project which will provide free training for those involved in providing assistive technology support for disabled learners. We are asking people who are responsible for assistive technology provision in any post compulsory education context to complete a questionnaire on Assistive Technology & Inclusion.
We estimate the questionnaire will take approximately 10 minutes to complete.

4.2 Collaborative innovation - involving disabled people in user-led innovation, 18.00 – 19.30 BST, 19 June 2014
You are invited to an event at the Royal Society, London to discuss the involvement of disabled people in user-led innovation.  This event will look at challenges and opportunities and highlight two projects in which disabled people are an integral part of the innovation process.

4.3 Making effective use of your VLE, 19 June – 8 July 2014

4.5 Connected Learning in an Open World - 12th Annual APT Conference, 8 July 2014
The Academic Practice and Technology (APT) Conference: Connected Learning in an Open World is our twelfth annual conference hosted by the eCentre at the University of Greenwich.  It provides an opportunity for delegates and presenters to debate and explore the significant challenges for higher and post-compulsory education and training arising from these waves of rapid change.
