Dear allstat users
please have a look at my currently calls for collaborations published at
<http://www.brunellalongo.co.uk/jobs.html>
In particular, I would like to point your attention towards the 3T call.
This is a very convenient sponsorship offer and an enjoyable opportunity for those who are involved and passionate about indexing, information retrieval and vocabularies, from the more formal ones to the most juicy and creative folksonomies! In particular, I am looking for publishers, institutional customers, NGO and people from all walks of life, including librarians, archivists, documentalists, metadata and classification experts, consultants, freelance, vendors and project managers, historians, statisticians and engineers interested in knowledge organisation. The taxonomy to be published and tested, Turning The Tide or 3T, is related to cybercrime and cyber security from an interdisciplinary perspective but its innovative structure makes the experiment relevant for anybody interested in new developments for knowledge organisation of digital collections and open data.
The exercise:
- will took place in 2015 (provisionally January - March 2015) using remote access to shared resources 24/7;
- will require participants to fill surveys and index / tag electronic resources.
To register your interest either as a sponsor or as a tester send me (at bl at brunellalongo.co.uk or via normal post to PO BOX 107, 61 Willow Walk, London SE1 5SF) your personal details, details of your organisation and few words about the expected benefits, reason why or motivation to join the 3T groups by **** Monday 30 June 2014 ****. I will reply to everybody by July 15.
With kindest regards
Brunella Longo
