As Raj says, this course is not primarily about 'ethnic health' but it is about the fundamental science of public health - and ethnicity is, (we'd argue, I am sure) one of the defining fundamental indicators and tools of epidemiology!. As the course is led by three well-respected 'ethnic-health' experts, I really don't think participants will be able to finish the course without appreciating the need to take ethnic inequality into account. That's called 'mainstreaming' our subject...
Over to you to enthuse your colleagues, students and maybe even yourselves! (There are worse places to study than Edinburgh....)

Dear Mark,
While this course is not about ethnicity, there is no doubt that
epidemiology is important to the study of ethnicity.
