Brill Signs New Harvard Egyptological Studies Book Series
Brill, the international scholarly publisher, has signed an agreement to publish Harvard Egyptological Studies - a new book series. The series will present scholarly publications in the field of Egyptology and will highlight, but is by no means limited to, aspects of the Harvard University-Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition (1905-1947).
The series will be edited by Peter Der Manuelian, Philip J. King Professor of Egyptology and Director of the Harvard Semitic Museum. "We are delighted with the University's new contribution to Egyptology, and hope that among other accomplishments it will bring renewed emphasis on the spectacular legacy of the Harvard-MFA Expedition," Manuelian said.
