A leading Consultancy is seeking an intellectually capable and enthusiastic individual to fulfil this position. This role is an opportunity to begin/continue a successful career with this client by enhancing development of their analytical capabilities. The role will strengthen the analytical and technical offer of the Global Solutions team. Specifically this role will focus on the consolidation and continuous development of the calculation engine behind their statistical capabilities.
Role & Responsibilities
• Produce high quality, comprehensive R functionality that will enable new and enhanced statistical analyses for a wider user-base. The applicant will be expected to contribute in the development of new analyses from a statistical perspective, with special focus on the subsequent process of automation and deployment.
• Provide the analytical support and resources to the Global Solutions team for any sort of statistical analysis requirements that may arise.
• The main interaction will occur with members of the Marketing Science and Global Systems community across the world, and with other members of the Global Solutions teams. It is very important that you build good relationships with key people around the world, as the analytical developments must be rooted in the needs of their clients and client service teams.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills
• Educated to degree level with a strong statistics component.
• High level of programming skills in R.
• An ability to confidently apply statistics and analytics to the real world and provide practical and creative solutions.
• Demonstrable advanced statistical modelling skills using statistical techniques such as:
Multivariate analysis, Path Analysis and Bayesian models, Econometric Models and Bayesian time series, Cluster analysis and other segmentation / classification techniques, Conjoint / Discrete Choice Models.
• Some experience in the use of a cross section of other statistical software e.g. SPSS, SAS, Bayesia, Sawtooth, Latent Gold, Lisrel is desirable.
