Dear all,
I would like to invite anyone interested (both staff and students) in "Geo" from all various themes of geography, GNSS, transportation, environment etc to join the Geospatial IG (which is under formation) of the Research Data Alliance.
The purpose of the Research Data Alliance https://www.rd-alliance.org/ is to accelerate international data-driven innovation and discovery by facilitating research data sharing and exchange, use and re-use, standards harmonisation, and discoverability. This will be achieved through the development and adoption of infrastructure, policy, practice, standards, and other deliverables. The RDA is supported by the European Commission, the U.S Government and the Australian Government.
We welcome those interested to join us (just register and subscribe to Geospatial IG) https://www.rd-alliance.org/internal-groups/geospatial-ig.html so we can start building future collaborations for building this up. I am looking forward to working with you on this.
Best wishes,
Suchith
