Dear Colleagues
At the forthcoming European Space Weather Week (Liège, Belgium, 17-21
November 2014) there will be a session on the monitoring of long-term
changes, with a particular emphasis on climate impacts:
“Key solar observables for addressing long-term changes of the Geospace”
This session addresses the observables of solar activity (sunspot
number, geomagnetic indices, cosmogenic isotope concentrations, etc.)
that are important for understanding the solar forcing of our Geospace,
with an emphasis of long-term effects, and the impact on climate.
Particular attention will be given to recent advances in the collection
or understanding of these observables, but also to open issues, and to
roads for future improvement.
This session will consist of talks (invited and contributed), and a
poster session. We also welcome posters that address more technical and
user-oriented issues such as processing of the observables, the making
of composite data sets, etc.
Deadline for abstract submission: June 1, 2014
For more information: http://www.stce.be/esww11
We look forward to receiving your abstracts !
