Hi All,
List members may be interested in applying for one of our Grants Adviser roles. One or more of these roles will be working on our Engaging Science grant programme. The programme offers up to £10 million per year to support projects that engage the public with biomedical science. We support projects in many different areas including events, education, film, theatre, exhibitions and deliberative projects.
We currently have vacancies for two Grants Advisers within our Grants Management Department. Working with a group of advisers focussed on Culture & Society (The Engaging Science department sits within our 'Culture & Society' division) grant schemes, you will be responsible for managing applications for these schemes, including advising potential applicants, checking eligibility, inputting information onto the relevant databases, selecting referees and preparing paperwork for Committees. Roles working on Engaging Science grants will also be responsible for monitoring a small portfolio of funded projects.
An important part of the role will be liaising with applicants and award-holders in our external community and developing positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
Working closely with partners in our Culture & Society Funding Division, you will provide key support for the Trust’s portfolio of activities which consider, question and debate the key issues in science and society.
Candidates should be educated at least to degree level.
Salary will be £29k per annum plus excellent benefits
