Wales British Sociology Medical Sociology Group invite you to a talk on 'Physiotherapy and the body multiple' with Clare Kell, Julie Latchem and Gwyneth Owen
Friday 30 May 2pm - 4pm
Room 1.65 CPlan (Glamorgan Building, Cardiff School of Social Sciences, Cardiff University)
This session explores physiotherapy practice through the lens of bodies/embodiment to uncover how physiotherapy identities & practices are experienced/produced in practice. Although the session is specific to the bodies & body work associated with the moving/touching practices of physiotherapy, the method/ologies & issues presented are potentially of interest to other disciplines whose identities & practices are accomplished through the medium of the body.
