Dear List,
For anyone struggling with how to cope with mobile (i.e. everyone) here's a big chunk of useful stuff.
We have put up slides from the speakers at MCG's Museums get Mobile! One-day spring conference. It was a great event and whether you were lucky enough to attend or sadly couldn't make it, there's lots to enjoy here.
We already have juicy thought-provoking and useful ideas up from:
* Andy Budd from Clearleft on how responsive design is easy if you use solid simple web principles
* Leonie Watson on accessibility and not fearing the accessibility police
* Shelley Mannion on learning and mobiles at the British Museum
* Dan Goodwin on collaborative discovery in the design of Bristol Museums new responsive site
* Lindsey Green of Frankly, Green + Webb on designing mobile services, not websites
* MCG Chair Mia Ridges Storify of collected response from attendees
* My slides on holistically designing responsive services for multiple contexts at the V&A
* Hidde de Vries blogged notes on the event

On behalf of MCG committee, many thanks again to all the presenters who have kindly shared their great ideas back into the museum tech community. Respect to them. Twice in the last week I have heard people say how amazing and active museum tech people are - I concur!
We have a few more things to come yet too. We will add more as they come in.
